ART2LIFE COACHES SHARE THEIR STORIES AND STRATEGIES (Suggested for Stage Four; Integration)
This will be a panel discussion about some of the most common challenges that artists face. We’ll be talking about ways to overcome those challenges, what has worked for us, the areas that we have personally struggled with and, of course, we will welcome your participation and questions!
Here are some of the topics we’ll be covering:
– How do we successfully navigate between intuitive, spontaneous play and thinking and discernment when making our art? What helps us to do this and why are both necessary?
– How to manage big shifts and changes in your work, as you grow and develop as an artist
– What tools or methods do we use to analyze our work and decide when it’s finished?
– How to prepare for an exhibition…..and how might that be different if this is your first time showing your work. What would be helpful to know.
– What strategies can we use to keep ourselves motivated and producing a cohesive body or work
