KIMBERLY TROWBRIDGE (Suggested for Stage Six; Mastery)
Kimberly Trowbridge is a painter, teacher and colorist – meaning that she uses color as the primary means of building images. She received her MFA from the University of Washington (2006). Her first solo museum show at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (2021) was developed during her time as Creative Fellow at Bloedel Reserve (2018-2020), a 150-acre garden amid an old growth forest. She shows her work at the Linda Hodges Gallery in Seattle and teaches an intensive study program in color at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle. Kimberly has a wealth of knowledge about value, design and color and is a generous and enthusiastic teacher. Listen in to see what you might learn.
